Cultural Camp Sept. 30- Oct. 1
Are you interested in learning about Indigenous wilderness living skills this Fall? How would you like to elevate your wilderness cooking experience? Join us for our hands-on learning and hone your skills in the camp kitchen, you’ll learn new recipes and traditional cooking techniques. There will also be sessions on Mini Moccasin Making, Iroquois Lacrosse Program, Land Based Healing, Healthy Relationships and Cultural Activities.
Join us in Timminis September 30th and October 1st, 2017 at Northern College for the 2017 ASWCO Fall Cultural Camp.
The cultural camp is open to ages 10+ in the ASWCO North East Region living in: Attawapiskat, Brunswick House, Chapleau Cree, Chapleau Ojibwe, Flying Post, Fort Albany, Kashechewan,Matachewan, Mattagami, Missanabie Cree, Moose Cree, Taykwa Tagamou Nation, Wahgoshig and Weenusk.
Living In Primary Urban Centres: Cochrane, Moosonee, Hearst, Iroquois Falls, Timmins, Kirkland Lake, New Liskeard
Or Belong to the Following Friendship Centres: Ininew Friendship Centre, Kapuskasing Friendship Centre, Timmins Native Friendship Centre
