Team Ontario Soccer – NAIG 2017


For each sport ASWCO is attempting to have a tryout in the North, Central, & South regions. Currently ASWCO is looking for host communities to host tryouts for each of the sports. If your community is interested in hosting a 2017 NAIG TEAM ONTARIO TRYOUT, please DOWNLOAD LETTER OF INTENT

The Aboriginal Sport and Wellness Council of Ontario (ASWCO) is seeking female and male coaches for both the boys and girls U16 soccer team to represent Aboriginal Team Ontario at the 2017 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG).

Please send an email with subject line “ATO U16 Soccer Coach” to and include the NAIG COACH APPLICATION FORM

Deadline: April 15th

TRYOUTS COMPLETED TO DATE: Kenora, Fort Albany, Sault Ste. Marie, Ottawa


WHEN: Apr. 22, 11:00am – 2:00pm

WHERE: Queens University – Upper Gym.

Directions: Once you reach the Athletic Recreation Centre, enter off the other Earl St. Entrance. Turn to your left & through the set of doors you will see the “Customer Service Desk”. Tell them you are here for the soccer tryouts for ASWCO in the Upper gyms and they will buzz you through the gates. Go up to the 3rd level and at the top of the stairs turn left through the doors. Then make another left and the gyms are at the end of the hallway.

WHO: U19, U16 teams Girls (Players born between 1998-2001 and later)

FEES: $20 Registration Fee
